Day 1: Arrive in Huangshan
Airport or train station arrival. You can spend your first night in Huangshan at your leisure, but you might want to experience some of the local culture, which primarily focuses on tea.
Tea is an important part of daily life in Huangshan. Spend an evening in a local teahouse to sample regional teas and experience the city’s relaxed social culture.
Day 2: Huangshan
After breakfast in the hotel, we will drive to Huangshan (Yellow) Mountain, the premier sight of Mt. Huangshan of a height of 1873 meters (6145 feet). At present, over 500 kinds of animals and 1500 kinds of plants live on the Huangshan Mountains. UNESCO listed Yellow Mountain as one of the World Natural Heritage sites in 1990.
Take the Yungu cable car up Huangshan, check into your hotel, and have lunch. Explore the mountain’s unusual pine trees and rocky slopes, including the famous Guest-Greeting Pine near the Jade Screen area.
Explore Huangshan’s peaks, including Brush Pen Peak and Beginning-to-Believe Peak. In the evening, enjoy the sunset from Cloud Dispelling Pavilion.
Day 3: Huangshan depature
On this day, try to get up early in the morning to catch the Huangshan Mountain's magnificent sunrise. After breakfast, we'll begin our descent from Huangshan. First, on foot down the western side of the mountain. Along the way, see Flying Rock, climb over the Brightness Apex, the second-highest peak on Huangshan, and Turtle Peak. After all the strenuous exercise, you will take the cable car at Yuping Station down to the foot of Huangshan Mountain. We'll drop you off at the airport or train station.
What to refine before booking
Protect the travel days
Review the full hotel-to-hotel transfer for every intercity leg. Avoid relying on a flight or train arriving early enough for a tightly timed major attraction unless the final schedule supports it.
Choose a comfortable pace
Confirm stairs, slopes and time on foot. Ask which optional visits can be shortened or removed, and where an additional night would make the biggest difference.
Make inclusions explicit
Request the actual hotel and room choices, guide language, vehicle arrangements, admission coverage, meals and any activity-specific support in the written quotation.
