Detailed itinerary
City pickup: Meet your guide for the Forbidden City visit. Admission is planned in advance. Palace visit: Explore selected courtyards and halls at a pace suited to your group. Modern Beijing stop: After lunch, stop at the Olympic Park if the schedule permits. Drive to the Wall: Reach the designated overnight area, eat dinner and prepare camp.
Sunrise and breakfast: Enjoy morning light at the camp before setting off. Jinshanling entrance: Travel to the hiking start and climb to the towers. West Simatai direction: Walk east on the agreed stretch, then descend at the permitted exit. Return: Eat and drive back to Beijing.

Confirm the permitted overnight location, tents, sleeping bags, pads, meals, toilet arrangements and weather alternative in your written proposal. The actual sleeping location may be a designated area near the Wall; do not infer permission to camp anywhere from a route photograph.
Arrange storage for your main luggage with the route team. Carry a small daypack with water, suitable layers and personal essentials. Confirm whether bags travel by vehicle between overnight stops.
